The aim of this typographic assignment was to design a book and dustjacket with provided copy and images. The content of this book provides a brief history of typographic glyphs.

I wanted to express a contemporary aesthetic whilst also dealing with the historicalcontent provided. In order to achieve this, I combined a contemporary sanserif font,frutiger with a more traditional serif font, garamond three. 
I chose toapply a few shades of purple to the book as it had connotations ofluxury and royalty, whilst contemporary, which I thought bestreflected the content.
The book was printed on 120 gsm, off-white, textured stock.
